Shiny Displays
Hello everyone. I'm currently in the market for a netbook. The problem I'm having is that most netbooks have shiny display screens. Can anyone explain why. Also would like a heads up on netbooks with matte display screens. Thanks in advance.

No idea. Maybe the display manufacturers sell them cheaper than the matte displays. Glad I have my Samsung NC10. It seems all the newer models have the dreaded glossy screens. Glare and fingerprints are a pain. I keep hearing the "more vibrant" issue, but for myself I don't see it.
